Thank you for expressing interest in aVEND. Data protection is of the utmost importance to the aVEND management, who wants to ensure a smooth online experience for its customers and web visitors.

While the use of the pages on the aVEND website may not be indicative of any personal data processing, in some cases, processing of personal data may become necessary; e.g. when a data subject wants to use special enterprise services via the website.

When a data subject registers on our website or contacts us via email or Contact Form, the personal data transmitted is automatically stored on our servers. Such personal data is transmitted on a voluntary basis and is stored for processing the supplied information or for contacting the data subject. Under no circumstances is this information transferred to third parties.

Registered data subjects are free to change their personal data at any point in time. They can also have their personal data completely deleted from the Controller’s data stock upon request.

Newsletter

Website users may be given the opportunity to subscribe to aVEND’s newsletter. During the subscription process, we store the IP address and the date and time of the action for security purposes.

Personal data collected during this process is only used for sending the newsletter. No transfer of personal data shall take place between us and third parties. The newsletter subscription may be terminated at any time by the data subject via the “unsubscribe” link in each newsletter.

Google Analytics

aVEND has integrated Google Analytics on the website with the anonymiser function. Google Analytics is a web analytics service used for the collection, gathering, and analysis of data to monitor the behaviour of visitors on websites.

For website analytics, our Controller uses the “_gat._anonymiseIp” application. Through this application, the IP address of the data subject’s internet connection is abridged and anonymised by Google when accessing from a Member State of the EU.

Data subjects may prevent the setting of cookies through their web browser settings. Further information regarding Google’s data protection provisions may be found at Google Privacy Policy.

Social Media

The aVEND website may integrate components from social networks such as Facebook. If a data subject is logged into their social media account while accessing our website, the social network may detect each call-up and collect information accordingly.

If such transmission of information is undesirable, the data subject may prevent it by logging out of their social media account before accessing our website.
